iOS 11.3 will support Advanced Mobile Location 

Apple has announced that the iPhone’s next update, iOS 11.3 will support Advanced Mobile Location (AML), which will automatically send a user’s current location when making a call to emergency services in countries where AML is supported.

EENA, which has been campaigning for this move has congratulated Apple for: “This great achievement that will make people safer and save lives. In the countries where AML is already operational on smartphones, many lives have been saved thanks to this technology.”

The EENA spokesperson added: The upcoming iPhone update is therefore a major improvement in the daily work of emergency and rescue services.

Apple has also announced that its new Health Records feature will The new Health Records feature brings together hospitals, clinics and the existing Health app to make it easy for consumers to see their available medical data from multiple providers, whenever they choose. Patients from participating medical institutions will have information from various institutions organized into one view and receive regular notifications for their lab results, medications, conditions and more. Health Records data is encrypted and protected with a passcode.
